Samsung One UI 6.1.1: A unified trash can

A Simpler Way to Manage Deleted Files

Samsung has introduced a convenient new feature in One UI 6.1.1: a unified trash can. This feature simplifies the process of managing deleted files across various apps.

How Does It Work?

Previously, deleted files were stored in individual app-specific trash cans. This could make it difficult to keep track of deleted items, especially if you accidentally deleted something important.

With the new unified trash can, all deleted files from different apps are collected in one place. This makes it easier to recover files if you change your mind or realize you deleted something by mistake.

How to Access the Unified Trash Can

  1. Open the My Files app.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Utilities.
  3. Select Trash or Recycle Bin.

From here, you can view, restore, or permanently delete your files.

This new feature is a welcome addition to One UI 6.1.1, making file management more efficient and user-friendly.
