Samsung is rumored to add new AI-derived Battery protection features with One UI 6.1. The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S24 series next month, which will also debut a new One UI iteration. As usual, older Galaxy devices would start getting One UI 6.1 a month after its debut.
According to TarunVats, it revealed 3 AI-derived One UI 6.1 Battery protection features. It looks like the Protect battery will be renamed to Battery protection. This change will not only rename but also add three options for battery protection.
The source mentioned in his X post that the Basic mode stops the charging at 100% and then resumes at 95%, while the Adapt mode charges the phone up to 80% and pauses until it’s time for you to wake up. Meanwhile, the Max mode stops charging the battery at 85% for good battery health.
