Samsung releases Android 12 major update for Galaxy A51 in US
Samsung has given a push to the major Android 12 software update towards the Galaxy A51 smartphone users in the US. In March, the company unveiled the prominent software for the global variants of the respective device. However, now the firm is serving the carrier-locked and unlocked versions with the same interface.

The Android 12 update is rolling out in different networks in the US for the respective variants of the Samsung Galaxy A51. For the carrier-locked models, the update is occurring on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile’s networks. While the carrier-unlocked form is approaching the update on Verizon’s network.
What’s new with the latest update?
If we talk about the version number of the update for both the variants, then they differentiate from each other due to separate networks. The update for the carrier-unlocked version appears with the build number A515U1UEU7DVD4. Whereas, the carrier-locked version gains the update as A515USQU7DVD3.
The latest Android 12 update brings a One UI 4.1 interface for the device. Moreover, It delivers the March 2022 security patch for the smartphone to repair a number of privacy and security defects.
Update Instructions
Samsung Galaxy A51 users can follow the steps below to install the update:
- Navigate to the Settings menu
- Select the Software Update option
- Let the device fetch the appropriate firmware
- Click on the Download & Install tab
