A few days back, Samsung added a new member to its rugged tablet lineup with several upgraded features and capabilities. But at that time the Korean tech giant didn’t reveal overall details about the new big-screen device. But now Samsung has disclosed the price and availability of Galaxy Tab Active 5 in the US.
The Galaxy Tab Active 5 features an 8-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It uses a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera for photography and video calls. The device powers an Exynos 1380 chipset with 6GB, 8GB RAM, and 128GB, 256GB storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card.
The tablet is packed with a 5,050mAh battery, and there is a side fingerprint scanner for security. Other key specs include a dedicated Active key on the side, dual SIM, 5G, pogo pin, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6, dustproof, waterproof with an IP68 rating, and scratch-resistant with the Gorilla Glass 5.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 price and availability in the US
According to the information, the latest rugged tablet from Samsung, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 will arrive in US stores before the end of March 2024 and the base model of this device featuring LTE connectivity will start at $548.99 in the US. Whereas, the one with the 5G connectivity will be available at a higher price point.
However, Samsung also offers an Enterprise Edition of Tab Active 5, which simplifies configuration and management. Both versions will be available through the Samsung Business website.
