Samsung testing One UI 5.0 (Android 13) for Galaxy Z Flip 3
After the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung started the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 beta program for the Galaxy S21 lineup yesterday. Now Samsung seems to have started Galaxy Z Flip 3 One UI 5.0 testing internally.
In a recent development, the Checkfirm app has detected One UI 5.0 update for the famous Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones. As per the information, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 One UI 5.0 update that is under construction carries the One UI build version F711NKSU2EVHK and is testing in South Korea at the time.

Currently, there’s no information on the release date of the stable version. However, it’s worth mentioning that Samsung is said to release the One UI 5.0 public version sometime in mid-October. As soon as the stable version goes official, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will grab it.
Launched last year, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is one of the eligible devices that will receive the Android 13-based One UI 5.0, plus two more major Android updates. The device is even eligible for the One UI 5.0 beta program, which might start shortly.
This beta update will let you test and enjoy Samsung’s Android 13 and One UI 5.0 version. This new iteration of Android and One UI brings a lot of new features and improvements to the devices.
Additionally, it also has some advanced features that are specially customized for foldable phones. For example, Multitasking gestures which let you open apps in pop-up a window or split screen in just a swipe.
What about One UI 4.1.1?
Well, Samsung has also launched One UI 4.1.1 alongside the new Galaxy foldable series earlier this month. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is eligible for One UI 4.1.1 as well. But if it will release One UI 5.0 then what about One UI 4.1.1?
The company officially started the One UI 4.1.1 release a couple of days ago. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 might get this update in earlier September and soon after this, the One UI 5.0 Beta could be released for it. However, nothing can be confirmed at the present time.
