Samsung to add Snapchat Camera shortcut on lockscreen, suggests app code

We recently heard a rumor that Samsung is going to add a lockscreen shortcut for Instagram app on the upcoming Galaxy S24 device, and this time we are hearing about a new app.

According to a report, Snapchat is working on letting Samsung Galaxy users quickly launch the Snapchat camera from the lockscreen without unlocking the phone, the Snapchat beta app code suggests (courtesy Android Authority).

This new feature is likely to come with the One UI 6.1 version. Samsung Galaxy users can already add a shortcut to any app on the lockscreen, but it will need you to unlock the phone first.
