Samsung to release major S Pen feature update for Galaxy Tab S7 this month

Last month, Samsung started to release the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 lineup. With the One UI 3.1, these tablets have received several new productivity features for increased user experience. Now, the company announced that it will bring plenty of new S Pen features that will be useful for productivity-oriented users.

S Pen features:

Samsung announced that a new software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 duo to be released in the first quarter of this year that will deliver more continuous experiences with its S Pen. Users will be able to fill address boxes using their S Pen instead of the current keyboard input. For example, anything you write in the input field will instantly be converted into digital text.

Furthermore, the upcoming firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S7 duo will include a new pen type for more natural note-taking experiences in Samsung Notes. When the user will select the ‘Pen to text’ option, it will allow you to write their handwritten notes and will instantly convert them into digital text.

Tip: The ‘Pen to text’ will be available in more than 80 languages that makes this function able to easily detect any punctuation and spacing when using Samsung Notes.

Easily scan documents with Samsung Notes:

The upcoming software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will add another feature that lets users scan documents using the Camera app on their devices. Users have to simply tap on the ‘Attach’ icon in the app then they will scan their document and directly start working on the scanned document.

At the Galaxy Unpacked 2021, the Korean tech giant introduced the 360 Audio feature along with the Galaxy Buds Pro that lets users enjoy 360-degree surround sound when watching a video on their Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+. The smart motion tracking sensor will pinpoint the direction of the sound of media as users enjoy content on Tab S7 or S7+.
