Samsung to start new training program to evaluate chemical standards
Samsung has just organized three days education-based training program from 22nd of March to 24th of March 2022 with its 480 domestic partners. Samsung has been conducting this training program for the evaluation of revised chemical standards.

As per the report, Samsung has set up this training program to spread knowledge and awareness about the importance of ESG management to its business partners and to support the activities related to it. The Company has conducted this online training to overcome the difficulties faced in managing hazardous substances due to the recent upliftment in global rules and regulations.
In this training, Company has focused on chemical management managers of the product, and its partner companies. Samsung Electronics focused on what are the latest trends in strengthening the regulations necessary for the management of chemical substances used for product manufacturing, about the importance of chemical management and its impact on the environment. They also discussed the management methods of various chemical substances, made guidelines for product management. Explained the major issues related to those chemical substances.
Further, Samsung Electronics has put a light on how it’s going to spread the knowledge to its 2200 overseas partners from this August, which is going to start from March 2022 in Korea. Kim Yong-Han, manager of ‘Haem’, a mobile phone charger manufacturer who attended this training, said, “It is very helpful for small and medium-sized enterprises to monitor global environmental regulations because there is not enough manpower and it takes a lot of time.
