At the 37th Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exposition (EVS37), Samsung unveiled its super-gap technology, poised to revolutionize the global electric vehicle (EV) market. With its game-changing battery technologies, Samsung SDI is set to establish itself as a key player in the EV industry.
As per the details, the South Korean tech giant has participated in the EVS37 which begins on April 23 and last till April 26, 2024. At this four-day-long conference, Samsung unveils super-gap-enabled innovations like all-solid-state batteries, ultra-fast charging, and ultra-long life battery.
Furthermore, Samsung is expected to begin the mass production of all-solid-state batteries in 2027. Whereas, the production of batteries that can be charged up to 80% in just 9 minutes and the ultra-long life battery that lasts long till 20 years is expected to begin in the years 2026 and 2029 respectively.

At the exhibition, Samsung will also unveil some other products like 46-phi batteries and a cell-to-pack (CTP) concept. Accordingly, the achievements of Samsung SDI including environmental, social, and corporate governance will also be showcased at the conference.
