Samsung’s Galaxy S23 may not offer upgraded version of Galaxy S22’s telephoto camera

According to the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy S23 / S23 Plus will be equipped with the same telephoto camera as the Galaxy S22 / S22 Plus. The telephoto camera sensor of the Samsung Galaxy S22/S22 Plus is Samsung S5K3K1, 1/3.94 inches, f/2.4 aperture, has 10 megapixels, and supports 3x optical zoom, and 30x digital zoom.

Moreover, the telephoto lens of the Samsung Galaxy S23/S23 Plus will use the same configuration as the previous generation and is likely to be the same sensor, but since the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is still several months away, Samsung may still change the device and configuration of the telephoto lens.

If the Samsung Galaxy S23 / S23 Plus does not have an upgrade in the telephoto lens, and since there are many models in 2022, the improvement is not obvious, I hope that after a year, these models can be upgraded in other aspects.
