Seagate launched One Touch SSD with USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface

Seagate Technology has unveiled the Seagate One Touch SSD portable solid-state drive. According to the manufacturer, the novelty is distinguished by “stylish design, mobility, and performance at the level of drives with an NVMe interface.”

In terms of design, the upper part of the device is made of aluminum, while the side walls are made of soft fabric inserts. The manufacturer offers three color options.

If we talk about mobility, the dimensions of the drive are 70 x 50 x 10.6 mm, the weight is 74 g. The device can withstand drops from a height of up to 2 m. For data exchange and power, the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is used, the signals of which are output to the USB-C connector. The data transfer rate for sequential read or write up to 1030 MB / s.

The Seagate One Touch SSD is expected to begin shipping before the end of the month. The MSRP for the 500GB model is $ 95, 1TB is $ 170, and 2TB is $ 310. In Russia it is 8,200, 13,800 and 25,800 rubles. Included are USB-A and USB-C cables, Seagate Toolkit with continuous data sync between your computer and drive, a data recovery subscription, plus a 1-year Mylio Create and 4-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
