SEGA’s Judgement unexpectedly supports State Share feature on Google Stadia
The latest game recently added to Google Stadia was a remake of SEGA’s remaster of the Yakuza-series game Judgment. Slightly unexpectedly, too the game actually supports the main feature of Stadia, State Share, although it works a little differently than other games on the platform.
When Judgment first launched on Google’s game streaming platform last night, some fans quickly noticed that the game appeared to support state shares. However, an erroneous tweet from Google’s official Facial Stadia Twitter account and the implementation of the feature not working properly made them question the results.

The original pitch for the state share was to allow players to click and link and was immediately transferred to the same part of the game as the other player. It’s a concept perfectly in Hitman games and Pixel Junk Riders, but Judgment uses it to put players at the same level.
Google was able to clarify to us that the state share in the judgment only gives details of the moment when the shot was captured instead of the exact moment. So when you share capture from Judgment, the other Stadia player who opens it will be placed at the beginning of that chapter of the game. If you click here, this example will place a player at the beginning of the state share, tutorial chapter.
- Judgment is now available for $39.99. As a side note, the game plays at native 1080p at 60fps.
