Select 2022 Apple iPhone models to eliminate notch and equip Punch-Hole Display
What will be the future of iPhones? It is worth thinking, what new design changes will Apple introduce in the upcoming iPhones after its long and famous full-sized notch. Well, here’s something new on this.
According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the hole-punch display design will be adopted by high-end future iPhones, and if production yields are good enough, all 2022 iPhones models may use this design.”
Kuo did not provide any further details that how the company is going to place a Face ID component without a notch and whether a facial recognition system could be used or eliminated. He specifically mentions that high-end iPhones will be the first to flaunt a hole-punch.

The analyst says if the development goes smoothly, at least one new device from Apple in 2023 will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor, a periscope telephoto camera. It may also include a full screen display design with no notch or a hole. Though this is an aesthetic change, the removal of notch only means two things either removal of the face ID module or equip it with a touch ID.
We all are likely going to see a new design as Apple is rumored to be planning for under display touch ID on some future iPhones , while the Chinese phone maker ZTE recently showed off an under-display 3D facial recognition system, so by this, we can guess that Apple may also provide a similar solution.
The company could also launch a new low-end iPhone with a 6-inch LCD screen, Face ID at a price of 600$ in the first and second quarter of 2023. This could replace the iPhone 11 according to Kuo. That’s all for the now regarding the future of iPhones and we’ll keep you posted as soon as we receive something new.
