The company is adding a new photo import feature for passes in Google Wallet. This capability enables you to scan or upload snaps of cards that have barcodes or QR codes, such as gym memberships, library cards, or grocery loyalty cards. You can further access these cards in Google Wallet.
Google Assistant
Google Fit and Fitbit users can access their fitness data with the virtual assistant by utilizing some new options. You can ask the assistant to depict the sleep data or step count by saying ‘Hey Google, good morning’. It will then provide you with audio fitness info on hours slept, sleep time start, and more.
Lookout
Lookout is an AI application that generates detailed inputs on visual content. For instance, you can open an image in Lookout and ask several questions to learn more about what is in that particular image. Ahead, you can type or use voice commands to put forth your queries.
The app supports 34 languages along with 11 new ones such as Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. This makes Lookout more accessible and useful for people who speak different languages.
Wear OS Features
The tech giant has implemented WhatsApp for Wear OS which lets you send and receive messages, answer calls, and keep up with chats without the requirement of your phone. At the same time, Google Maps is ready to let you find new places, place information, and directions on your wearable.
Other than that, the company is bringing new communication apps for Android Auto. Meanwhile, Gmail is capable of translating your emails into different languages. The tech giant is further adding a simplified on-the-go call experience for Google Meet.
