Seriously, after terrible year, Huawei launches EMUI 11 based on Android 10
At Huawei’s annual developer conference, HDC 2020, the Chinese company launched its new mobile UI, EMUI 11. This year’s EMUI comes with improved features that were introduced with EMUI 10 but there’s one interesting fact that you should know about its Android base.
The EMUI 11 beta is based on Android 10, the same as last year’s EMUI 10 and the new EMUI 10.1. This means it’s just a step-up version of EMUI 10 and not a complete EMUI 11.

A report suggests that Huawei will release the first EMUI 11 beta build for 10 devices including smartphones and tablets from Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro lineup.
Google has launched Android 11 on September 8 and the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) builds are available to download. Maybe in the coming months, Huawei may shift its mobile system to Android 11. Still, Huawei has not provided any confirmation on this matter.
