SK Hynix will reach a long-term agreement with German automotive memory chip supplier Bosch
People familiar with the matter stated that SK Hynix, the world’s second-largest memory chip maker, is about to reach a long-term agreement with German automotive equipment supplier Bosch, and SK Hynix will give the latter with automotive memory chips.
As reported, quoted an anonymous source in the industry as saying that the two companies are in direct negotiations on SK Hynix’s supply of automotive memory chips to Bosch, with a validity period of 10 years or more, the report did not mention financial details.
Both SK Hynix and Bosch declined to comment. An unnamed source said that Samsung and automotive equipment suppliers Continental Group and Hyundai Motor Group have established a cooperative relationship in the supply of memory chips.
Due to the unprecedented shortage of the half-chip industry, major companies around the world are striving to ensure chip inventory.
