Recently, Realme has updated a set of its smartphone with Android 10 (based on Realme UI) and the latest security patches. According to new information, some Realme Smartphones are getting a new feature – ARCore support.

The Realme Smartphones that are receiving ARCore support are Realme 5/5 Pro, Realme 6/6 Pro, Realme Q, Realme X/X Lite, Realme XT, Realme X2, and Realme X2 Pro.
What is ARCore?
ARCore’s understanding of the real world lets you place objects, annotations, or other information in a way that integrates seamlessly with the real world. ARCore makes use of three key functions to integrate virtual content with the real world, these key functions are mentioned below:
- Motion tracking: It tracks position relative to the real world.
- Environmental understanding: It detects the size, location, and surface of the object.
- Light estimation: It detects the actual lighting conditions.
