SpaceX plans to launch next batch of 60 Starlink Internet satellites on mid-day of May 26

The US space exploration technology company SpaceX plans to launch the next batch of 60 Starlink Internet satellites on the afternoon of May 26, Eastern Time, which is not far from the launch of the last batch of Starlink Internet satellites.

It is reported that SpaceX’s “Falcon 9” rocket will be launched from the Cape Canaveral launchpad 40 in Florida at 2:59 pm Eastern Time on May 26. The launch will put 60 stars into space. The chain Internet satellite is sent into low earth orbit.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced the “Starlink” satellite Internet service project in January 2015, which aims to provide users all over the world with high-speed Internet access, especially in rural and remote areas.

Prior to this, on May 15, 2021, SpaceX launched 52 Starlink satellites. So far, the company has launched 1,677 satellites into low-Earth orbit, of which 99 have been de-orbited, and 1,578 are in orbit.

At present, the company’s Starlink project is still in the testing phase. The company is providing Starlink satellite Internet test services for users in parts of the northern United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The company plans to expand the coverage of the service to the world.
