The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league with eight teams competing from eight different Indian cities. The league was established in 2007 by the Board of Control for India (BCCI). It usually takes place from March to May each year and has a special window into the ICC Future Tours program.
Last year, due to the epidemic COVID-19 the venue for the 2020 season was moved, and games were played in the United Arab Emirates. There are thirteen seasons in the IPL tournament. The popular title holders are the Mumbai Indians who won the 2020 season.
Moreover, between June 2013 and June 2016, Vivo won the auction for Rs 2,199 crore (the US $ 310 million) over the next five seasons (2018–2022) in a deal more expensive than the Barclays Premier League title sponsorship deal.

Vivo title sponsorship rights were terminated on August 4, 2020, due to a military conflict between India and China on the original Line of Control in July 2020. The withdrawal was due to Vivo’s market losses, it hopes to return to the current COVID-19 scene as title sponsors for the next 3 years. Additionally, Dream 11 won the title sponsorship for the 2020 IPL for Rs 220 crore.
The league has been handed over financially to players, franchises, sponsors, and the whole of India, creating a strong desire among many partners to value it appropriately. To ensure continuous improvement, management and team owners need to explore innovative ways to interact with fans, clubs, and sponsors.
