Square Enix is reportedly partnering with Team Ninja to create new Final Fantasy action game
Information that the Nioh developer team has partnered with Ninja to create a new Final Fantasy action game called Square Enix. The project is called Final Fantasy Origins and is being developed by Team Ninja members who created the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Fighting Game.
According to the FanByte report, the final fantasy source is exclusive to the PlayStation 5 and PC and will be officially revealed at E3 2021 during the Square Enix showcase. It is unclear when the game will be released, but rumors suggest that there are plans to launch Alpha for Final Fantasy Origins this summer.

The demo, called Stranger in Paradise, is similar to what Square Enix did in the past for Final Fantasy games – because the demos often start before the games in the series. Leaked information shows the logo for the game, giving more credibility to its existence.
Rumors about the Final Fantasy Origin first appeared in Reddit and the Reset Era and were confirmed by Fanbyte. The publication states that Final Fantasy can play as a more plausible version of the Origin Neo or Souls game, taking action at the forefront.
The team is known for developing combat and action games such as the Ninja Dead or Alive series and Ninja Guide. The studio took over Steam after the release of Neo in 2017, Fire Emblem Warriors the same year, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order in 2019.
Final Fantasy Origin has not yet officially been revealed, so fans should be cautious with expectations going into E3. But given Team Ninja’s history with Final Fantasy, as well as its relationship with Square Enix, it’s certainly possible this game will come to fruition.
