Stable HarmonyOS 2.0 expanding to all Huawei Mate 40 users in China
All the Huawei Mate 40 series users in China can now directly upgrade to the new HarmonyOS 2.0. According to the latest info, Huawei has released stable HarmonyOS 2.0 for a bunch of devices that allows them to directly upgrade to the new OS.
The Chinese phone maker has started with the beta testing which included the topmost Mate 40 smartphones. Later on, the beta select beta testers have already received the stable version along with the first batch of 18 Huawei devices.

These Mate 40 phones running EMUI 11 in China can now directly upgrade and taste all new features of the new HM OS. These are the following Mate 40 models getting stable version in China.
- Huawei Mate 40
- Huawei Mate 40 Pro
- Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus
- Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design
- Huawei Mate 40E

All the Mate 40 devices are currently running EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.160 (SP1)/175/177/180 can upgrade to HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.138.

- Your data won’t be erased, while it is recommended to backup your important files, in case.
- Use a stable connection to download the package.
- Maintain enough storage and battery on the device
- It’s a staged rollout and may take time to reach every device.
HarmonyOS 2.0 Features
