Summer Game Fest 2021: Who’s attending, schedule, and more updates

Posted on

Although E3 is in the 2021 corner, this is not the only gaming event planned for June. Summer Game Fest 2021, which will take place in a single month, is a long celebration of all things gaming, including announcements, world premieres, and shows. It certainly doesn’t look like E3, but if last year’s Summer Game Fest was any indication, it was full of things to look forward to.

To make things easier, we have compiled everything we need to know about Summer Game Fest 2021, including a list of attendees, how to look, and what to expect from it. We will update this post when more information becomes available.

Summer Games Fest 2021 starts at 2 pm. ET begins Thursday, June 10, with Kick Off Live. It will be hosted by Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley and performed by Weezer. It features the Days of Devas showcase, which aims to highlight games coming from independent studios. In the month of June 2021, more events will come under the umbrella of Summer Game Fest.

Summer Game Fest 2021 will be streamed live on Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and many more platforms. The event is free for everyone, so there is no need for a press badge or ticket. We will update it with a link to each platform as it nears the event start date.

What to expect from Summer Game Fest 2021

As Geoff Keegley explained, the program is a “free, fan-first, global experience” that “brings the entire video game community together for memorable announcements and updates”. Throughout the month, many of the industry’s leading publishers announce a game that celebrates the media. It will be a fully digital experience as it is in 2020.

Live! The show is planned for “over a dozen” world premieres and announcements for upcoming games, giving tone to the month-long celebrations. Currently, it seems that there are still many plans for this event. In addition, the list of participating companies will increase as we approach the start date.

Which companies will be participating in Summer Game Fest 2021?
