These 11 OPPO devices could be first to get Android 14 (ColorOS) upgrade

Posted on

Amid Android 14 developments, OPPO has made a huge step and shared the upcoming software upgrade timeline. Yes, the tech giant has revealed which devices will be the first to step in the major ColorOS 14 upgrade express in the coming weeks.

The last few months have been a tough spot for the Chinese OEM as it has halted most of its operations in Germany. Although if you reside in Europe and hold the OPPO smartphone in your pocket then it’s time to search your device in the Android 14 upgrade list.

As per the details shared by DroidApp, 11 OPPO devices will get a ride on the Android 14 roller coaster. These include the following smartphones:

  • OPPO A98
  • OPPO A78
  • OPPO A77
  • OPPO A57
  • OPPO Reno 8 Pro
  • OPPO Reno 8
  • OPPO Reno 8T
  • OPPO Reno X5
  • OPPO Reno X5 Pro
  • OPPO Reno X3 Pro

While the news seems quite exciting to the ears, it hides a piece of bad news as well. As visible in this list, there is no space for the Find N2 Flip model. This could be due to the fact that the tech maker has already released the Android 14 (ColorOS) beta for the respective handset.

The manufacturer has not uttered any release date for the software rollout. Perhaps, we can consider that high-end devices will likely grab the update by December 2023, just like the Android 13 timeline for last year.
