Titanfall 2 will available to play for free this weekend on Xbox Game Pass
Titanfall 2 is free to play on Steam this weekend. The five-year-old shooter broke new records on Steam when fans took part in a game that didn’t last long.
Titanfall 2, first released in 2016, is a response entertainment first-person shooter. The game got off to a bad start during a busy holiday next to Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It was initially lost in the reconstruction, but Respawn announced that it was gaining new interest after announcing that it was adding elements of the game to Apex Legends.

Last weekend, the game counted as its highest Steam player, with over 650% player base. Respawn now responded to that moment by playing the game for free on Steam this weekend. Now on May 3 from 10 am PT, anyone can enter the multiplayer game for free.
The announcement comes in response to another coordinated fan effort to promote the game this weekend. The Twitter account @TitanfallNews has called on all series fans to log on on May 1 to show their appreciation for the game. The Xbox GamePass account retweeted that post for over 9,000 likes and counts.
It’s an outside field success story for a game that struggles to find an audience at launch. The game failed to meet EA’s sales milestones, which called into question the sequel’s prospects. After the response went to the popular Apex Legends, the franchise seemed to be over. The newfound push could make Titanfall 3 a more viable option for EA.
