Twitter cancels Chirp developer conference
After being acquired by Musk, Twitter announced the cancellation of the upcoming Chirp developer conference on November 16, without explaining the reason.
“The Twitter team is now working hard to make Twitter better for everyone – including developers. While we’re preparing some exciting things for you all, we’ve decided to cancel the Chirp Developer Conference,” the official announcement said.

A Twitter spokesperson declined to comment on the reason for the cancellation, according to Engadget. Just two weeks ago, members of the media received an invitation to sign up for Chirp, and a spokesperson said at the time: “Chirp is the first time we’ve brought together the developer community from around the world in person to preview some new tools, discuss feedback, and celebrate developers making it easier for people on Twitter to discover content, have safer conversations, and influence the greater good.”
Therefore, it is not surprising that he disagrees with Twitter’s current development path, which may have caused the cancellation of the Chirp Developer Conference.
