A Ubisoft spokesperson recently confirmed in an interview with Eurogamer that Ubisoft will add the Ubisoft Original logo to its first-party games from now on. The spokesperson said: “In the future, all games created internally by outstanding Ubisoft developers should be marked with the “Ubisoft Original” logo.”
But almost all Ubisoft games are created in-house, such as the “Assassin’s Creed” and “Far Cry” series, which are all Ubisoft’s original works. This announcement may hint that Ubisoft will expand its business scope to publish games developed by other studios.
With the addition of the “Ubisoft Original” logo, the works of Ubisoft Studio can be distinguished from the works of other studios.
