Major mobile carriers in the UK – Vodafone, Three, and O2 sending EMUI 10 for Huawei P30 and Mate 20 smartphones but EE has not yet sent any EMUI 10 to any of these devices.

As recently on Twitter, a Huawei Mate 20 Pro user shared his conversation with EE support, regarding the EMUI 10 update and got the following answer.

“Huawei is about to launch the Android 10 version in Mate 20 Pro in the starting of the 2nd quarter of 2020, it means around the start of April 2020.” EE Support.

Huawei UK on the same matter.

There has been a lot of confusion around the release date for EMUI 10. In November we released an unstable test version, the stable version is now being released across February and March for Huawei devices. If you haven’t received it yet please be patient.” Huawei UK.

Back in November, Huawei sent the EMUI 10 build to all of the carriers and since every individual Mobile operator has their own process of testing the software update, the time for rollout may also be different.

This means EE is the one that taking time to test and release the EMUI 10 to devices. On the other hand, Huawei P30 smartphones on EE still haven’t got anything.

“EMUI 10 has been released, it has been sent to all carrier networks who then distribute out the updates. It may take some time to get to yourself but you will get this update for your phone.” Huawei UK
