Though the United States relaxes epidemic control, Apple Store still mandates wearing masks
The United States has begun to relax the control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Apple has notified its US retail stores that the mandatory wearing of masks and other epidemic-related procedures are still valid.
However, Apple also said that the company continues to evaluate health and safety measures, but did not tell employees when it expects to change the epidemic prevention procedures. Apple added that the company’s top priority is to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued the latest guidance on epidemic prevention on Thursday, stating that people who are fully vaccinated with the new crown vaccine no longer need to wear masks in most public places and no longer need to maintain social distancing.

During the epidemic, all Apple retail stores forced customers to wear masks, and some retail stores have been conducting limited operations, such as customers who only make appointments.
With the continuous advancement of vaccination work in the United States, local governments have further relaxed requirements for resumption of work, and many large retailers are likely to adjust their epidemic prevention procedures.
Earlier on Friday, other large retailers, including Walmart, Costco, and Joe’s supermarket chain, announced that shoppers who are fully vaccinated against the new crown do not need to wear masks in their stores. However, some retailers have also stated that they will abide by local government guidelines and still recommend that individuals with higher risks wear masks.
