Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Fold3 users are facing camera app issues. Users have reported a black screen when trying to use the camera after folding or unfolding the device. You will experience the problem after restarting the camera app from a pause condition.
To temporarily resolve Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Fold3 issues, users can close the Camera app from the Recent Apps screen and then open it again. To prevent the black screen from appearing, it is recommended to exit the camera app completely before folding or unfolding the phone.

Samsung is aware of this problem and is preparing a software update to address it. Users are advised to keep their devices updated with the latest software to benefit from these improvements.
To check for software updates, go to Settings, select Software Update, and then select Download and Install.
