US company filed a complaint against Samsung for violating Article 337 of the Tariff Act
A company in the United States, Pictos Technologies recently claimed that Samsung Electronics was suspected of infringing on image sensor patents.
According to a report of Taiwan media, Pictos Technologies filed a complaint before the US International Trade Commission against Samsung for violating article 337 of the Tariff Act of the United States.

Pictos Technologies accused including Samsung’s South Korea headquarters, Samsung’s American corporation in New Jersey, and Samsung Semiconductor’s American corporation in San Jose, California.

It’s not the first time that Samsung has been accused of patent infringement in the United States. Previously, seven companies including Samsung and Lenovo were accused of patent infringement in May last year.
The Irish-based Neodron company accused several companies of infringing on its touch screen patents and asked the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) to investigate.
