Verizon rolling out September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy Note 8
One of the major carriers, Verizon rolled out a new software update for Samsung smartphones in the US. The latest update is now rolling out to the Galaxy Note 8.
As per the information, Verizon sending a new software update to its locked devices. It comes with the software version N950USQU8DTI1 for Galaxy Note 8. Samsung has moved Galaxy Note 8 to a quarterly update from a monthly update schedule. So it could be a last monthly update from the carrier.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.
To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.
