Volkswagen introduced its electric car with 100KM/h acceleration in just 5.3 seconds
Volkswagen CEO Ralf Brandstatter has released photos and specifications of the new Volkswagen ID X hot electric hatchback. It was based on the Volkswagen ID.3 hatchback, while it also received an all-wheel-drive system from the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX, while the current Volkswagen ID.3 models have only rear-wheel drive.
Volkswagen ID X develops 329 hp, which is 27 hp. more than even the top version of the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX. The Volkswagen ID X is reported to weigh 200kg less than the standard Volkswagen ID.3, although details on how this was achieved have not been disclosed.

Ralph Brandstätter confirmed that the car accelerates to 100 km / h in 5.3 seconds and features a special drift mode (Drift mode), just like the new hot hatchback Volkswagen Golf R.
It is worth noting that the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX accelerates to 100 km / h in 8, 5 seconds. The Volkswagen ID X has a 77 kWh battery. There is no information yet about when Volkswagen ID will reach the stage of commercialization.
