Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2 has brought in useful functionality in the form of Google Clock and Weather integration. But after a few days of this rollout, the tech giant pulled off this capability via a server-side update which left Pixel phone users at a confusing point.
Eventually, the weather-related settings were no longer present in the Clock application. But here is the good news, the US manufacturer has again integrated Google Clock and Weather tweaks on Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2. However, there is a twist.
Recently, the weather integration has started showing up on the Clock app on Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2. Although the capability is limited to Pixel devices but not a Pixel Tablet. At the same time, it does not appear on Pixel 8 handsets while the Pro variant continues to flaunt these settings.
The reason behind this disappearance is quite unclear though the company may bring back this new change with the upcoming Android 14 versions.
