As with many digital showcases like this, you can find it on the publisher’s YouTube and Twitch channels. Livestream stays the same no matter which platform you choose.
What will be shown during the What’s Next event?
Blizzard does not give everything it shows in a premature event, we know that Next will make some PVP debuts of some Overwatch 2. This is particularly noticeable because Blizzard has so far focused on collaborative and story parts of the game. Aaron Keller explained that the PVP, as the first entry, was still “in the main part of what makes Overwatch 2 so special.”
What’s next event shows new maps and, as Keller says, the team plans to discuss the ideas behind the PVP changes with the new entry. To set expectations, Keller warns that everything he shows is in progress. Considering the development timeline of the game, Blizzard is unlikely to reveal the game release date during the event.
