WhatsApp is preparing a new shortcut feature that will help users to add new participants directly into group chats. As of now, you won’t need to follow a lengthy process before connecting with other friends and members in a particular group conversation.
Spotted in the latest WhatsApp iOS 23.15.1.77 beta version, the company is testing a unique add participants shortcut feature for group chats. As the name suggests, a new banner will show up in group chats, inviting people to add new members to the group conversations.
This feature will act as a shortcut, so users don’t need to open the group info page to add a new participant. Instead, you can quickly select new people to join the group right within the group chat, as long as the group permits to do so.

Note that the feature is already available for the Android app via the 2.23.16.10 version. Although, the update is now approaching iOS devices, for some beta testers and will soon be available to the general public with the stable release.
