As per the latest revealings, WhatsApp has replaced the filter button with a new feature that offers an advanced search experience in Channels. In other words, users would be able to grab specific information for their own country.
Besides, one can filter the results by the most active and popular channels on the list. The last two filers were present since previous builds, though the company is making them more accessible with the latest update.
WhatsApp ‘advanced search filters’ will enable users to discover and access channels that better interest them, eliminating the need to learn specific information. The feature is available to both Android and iOS via the latest WhatsApp update.
