It’s a new day and WhatsApp is now testing a significant interface for the restore chats screen. In recent times, the company has enhanced several sections of the apps with effective visual tweaks. As of now, some more eye-catching changes are coming with the latest update.
Spotted in the Android beta 2.23.18.4 version, WhatsApp is introducing a new interface for the restore chats screen. The addition will help in making the respective section more intuitive for users and enable them to choose how to restore their chat history.
On the greener side, the company is implementing an option to transfer the chat history from the old phone without depending on the Google Drive app. These tweaks are heading to beta testers for the moment via the Play Store.
Since new changes are emerging in the beta build, it has resulted in a widget issue where it’s unable to load and show the recent messages. Don’t worry as the company will soon release a bug-fix update for this problem.
