WhatsApp is likely to bring redesigned search bar

WhatsApp is working on a redesigned search bar for Android. As the name suggests, the search bar will now get a slight touch-up of Material Design on its surface. On the flip side, users will observe some other visual changes after installing the new update.

According to the details, WhatsApp is adding a redesigned search bar with the Android 2.23.16.5 beta version. Currently, the respective element is under the testing phase. Although it is available to some lucky beta testers via the Google Play Store.

Speaking of the changes, there is a complete overhaul of the interface for the search bar. In addition, the new interface is now available for other search bars implemented within the application. For instance, the one in the settings screen and while searching for messages in a conversation.
