What’s New:
The app-oriented firm is mainly developing this feature to bring convenience to its users. As they could easily find the documents while sharing them if they remember the captions.
As per the screenshot, the option to add a caption to the document has been placed. It will also help the users with quick access to the documents they are searching for. And they don’t have to scroll many times to search for the document.
At present, this feature is workable for images, videos, and GIFs only.
To be mentioned, currently, the captions for documents feature is in the testing procedure, and WhatsApp will release it to the hands of a small number of Android users only. Although, the firm will release the feature to all Android users in the time ahead.
In the meantime, WhatsApp has finally released the Hide Online Status feature to some of its lucky beta testers. Also, this update works to enhance the privacy of Android beta testers.
However, all Android users have to wait for some time to grab both these updates as the stable release is yet to come.
