Don’t worry! WhatsApp has recently rolled out a variety of safety tools and features that protects you from spam calls and enables you to block them right away. One such feature is the Silence Unknown Callers. As the name reflects, it automatically silents calls from unknown numbers.
Besides, it will show these calls in a notification so that you can check and verify the contact. Now let’s understand how you can access this amazing feature.
How to block spam calls?
- Open WhatsApp and go to the Settings page
- Select Privacy
- Scroll down and hit the Calls tab
- Turn on the Silence Unknown Callers option
Note that this feature doesn’t block messages from unknown people. Yet, it will stop spammers to call you on WhatsApp.
