WhatsApp now enables you to send short video messages directly in chats
WhatsApp continues to make its chat application excellent in every manner. In the latest development, WhatsApp is launching the instant short video messages feature – a new and impressive way to communicate with your friends and family members.
So far, we already have access to the mini voice recorder in the application where we can quickly share audio notes. However, WhatsApp is leveling up this feature with a new instant video messages capability. As the name reflects, users would be able to create and share a personalized clip directly in chats or conversations.
Eventually, it is a fun way where you can record and express yourself in 60 seconds. Meanwhile, it is as simple as sending a voice message. Just tap the mic icon to switch to video mode and hold to record the clip. You can also swipe up to lock and record the video hands-free.

Videos will play automatically on mute when opened in a chat, and one tap on it will begin the sound. In case you are worried about privacy, video messages are protected with end-to-end encryption to keep your messages secure. The feature has already begun rolling out and will be available to users in the coming weeks.
