WhatsApp to bring new moderation tools for group admins

This time, the WhatsApp beta team is working to add a handy feature for group admins. As the title – Group Admin required moderation of groups such as adding or removing the members, restricting messages from members, and more.

According to WABetaInfo, the latest WhatsApp beta version 2.22.11.14 brings a useful and powerful function for all group admins. However, the update is rolling out through the beta channel of the app.

The new information reveals that the new feature allows the group admins to delete messages from everyone within the group chat. Last December, this feature first appeared with WhatsApp beta version 2.22.1.7 and it seems back with the addition of a new function.

Thie new WhatsApp Beta version allows the group admins to decide to delete a message for all members of a group chat. Further, the admin will get a pop-up notification that all participants will be able to see who has deleted the message.

Further, the prompt provides two choices for admin – Delete for everyone or cancel. At the moment, this new feature is still under development and rolling for beta tester. We also expect that this feature may arrive with the upcoming update.
