WhatsApp continues to add new features and capabilities that can boost the app experience for users, and the latest development is no exception to this theory. According to the inputs, WhatsApp is rolling out a new screen-sharing feature for video calls.
In May 2023, the chat-app company announced the screen-sharing facility during WhatsApp video calls. At that time, the feature was in the testing phase and availed to some beta testers. Currently, the firm started pushing this capability to both Android and iOS users in a staged manner.
Dragging some attention to the new creation, Meta CEO – Mark Zuckerberg shared a new post on his Facebook and Instagram channels that the company is bringing the feature to more users. Eventually, the screen-sharing in WhatsApp is similar to what we have in Zoom, and Meet apps.

Speaking of the feature, it will enable you to share your documents, photos, and even a shopping cart with contacts available on video calls. One can access the feature by tapping the Share icon and can further pick between sharing a specific app or the entire screen.
