WhatsApp Web is dealing with a strange bug these days that alters the language settings for users. As per the details, the application is changing the language to English for some individuals without notifying them about it.
For your information, WhatsApp Web doesn’t have any language-related features. One has to select the preferred dialect during the registration process. You can try checking the browser’s language settings, logging out and logging back in, and ensuring that the language settings on your mobile device match the language displayed on WhatsApp Web.
Coming back, some users reported that while the login page appears in the standard language, other options in the WhatsApp Web settings show up in English, due to some bug or issue.
So far, the bug has only affected a limited number of users, and it’s not widely spread till now. We hope that the company will release a fix for this problem in the coming days.
