Xiaomi has started conducting internal testing of the upcoming operating system- Android 14 on its Mi 11 device. This move comes after the company released a June 2023 update for the model. With this major update, the smartphone will have received 3 Android and 4 MIUI updates.
There has been a big doubt that whether the Chinese tech firm will seed the Mi 11 series with the next major update or not. But now, we have got our hands on the internal testing build of Android 14 software – MIUI-V23.6.24 which is been developing for the Xiaomi Mi 11 model, this clears everyone’s suspicion and makes the users pleased.
The Android 14 update is expected to bring several new features and improvements to your Xiaomi devices, including better battery life, enhanced privacy and security, and improved overall performance. The Chinese tech giant will further unveil the MIUI 15 as the latest customs skin based on Android 14.

However, Xiaomi has not yet announced a release date for the Android 14 update, but the internal testing is a positive sign that it is on its way. Also, the next version of MIUI is assumed to be unveiled in Q4 of 2023 and the Mi 11 devices are expected to obtain the Android 14-based MIUI 15 update at the end of February 2024 or mid of March 2024.
Xiaomi Mi 11 is already known for its impressive specs, including a 6.81-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 chipset, 4600mAh battery, and 108MP primary camera. With the addition of Android 14, users can expect even better performance and functionality from their devices.
