Users of big-screen devices have been waiting for the next Xiaomi Pad lineup for a long time and now it seems like the wait is coming to an end. As we have now got some information about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 devices including chipset, battery, charging capacity, and more.
Today a digital blogger @Wisdom Pikachu revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 series may include two variants the standard and Pro and will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Here’s something to state, is only the high version will use an 8+ Gen 1 processor and the other will equip Snapdragon 870.
Additionally, the device will feature a dual camera setup at the back for a proper photography experience. Further, the devices include a battery capacity of 10,000mAh with support of 67W fast charging. Whereas, the Pad 5 lineup supports an 8,720mAh battery and 33W charging capacity.
As per the previous leak, both the versions of Mi Pad 6 series will be equipped with a high-resolution screen, but there may be differences in the screen material. It will be upgraded to an AMOLED panel with bright and rich colors, in order to provide an immersive gaming and movie experience.
In terms of appearance design, the design of the rear camera module of the new tablet is basically consistent with that of the Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 version. It has the iconic matrix dividing line of the Mi 12 series. The middle frame still seems to be designed with right-angled edges and made of metal.
However, the device is expected to arrive with the Mi 13 Ultra smartphones and could be powered with the Android 13-based MIUI 14 operating system. Also, at this moment the company has not revealed any information about the launch date or the specifications officially, but we will expect to get more information in the coming week.
