Back in December 2020, Xiaomi officially unveiled the newest version of the MIUI, MIUI 12.5 in China at Mi 11 launch event. Later, the company unveiled the latest custom skin Globally in early February.

Recently, Global VP of Xiaomi and MD of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar teased a Redmi Note 10S phone’s box with MIUI 12.5, which hints that the arrival of the MIUI 12.5 in India. Now, the wait for Xiaomi smartphone users of India is about to end.
According to official info, Xiaomi is going to launch its new smartphone, Redmi Note 10S in India on May 13 at 12 noon. It’ll be the first smartphone to come preinstalled with MIUI 12.5 in India.

Furthermore, the leaked box image also suggests that Redmi Note 10S will offer MIUI 12.5 experience, blazing-fast performance, long-lasting battery, 64-megapixel main camera, and a super display. While the three dots on the box seem to hints the three color variants of the device.
MIUI 12.5 comes with the support for Android gesture Turbo which provides extremely fast response in the system and upgraded its computing power. It also brings system animation design, new light Cone dynamic effect architecture, System sound design, hundreds of global biological sounds, new snow mountain super wallpaper, and more.
