Finally, Xiaomi is in the hearing to release an Android 12L software update for its huge screen device Xiaomi Pad 5. So far, the users have been experiencing their large screen gadget on the platform of Android 11. But as per the latest information, the company started working on unveiling an appropriate software for the device.

A few weeks before, the tech giant made a statement regarding the release of Android 12 for the big screen. Although, the device got an update with MIUI 13 and showcased its exclusive features. Yet, it was confined to the floor of Android 11 OS. Therefore, the company decided to set forth a major upgrade for the device with Android 12
“Due to the major version upgrade of Android, Xiaomi Pad 5, Pro 5G, Mi Pad 5 Pro, Mi Pad 5 will suspend the internal beta release from February 7, 2022.”
The statement accordingly gives a sign of a better upgrade for the respective tech. However, with the onset of this month, the company came up with a mindset to skip the Android 12 part and leap over Android 12L for Xiaomi Pad 5.
Due to the major code refactoring on Android 12, the upgrade plan will be postponed. In order to give you a relatively better upgrade experience, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G, Mi Pad 5 Pro, and Mi Pad 5 are now restored to the Android 11 version, thank you for your understanding.”
Hence, we can have a clear assumption of the company for the exposure of Android 12L software for the mentioned gadget. The internal tests of Android 12L began taking place. Till now, the device was running with MIUI 13 surface-based over Android 11. But now, the device will grasp the Android 12L straight away without pursuing Android 12.
