Xiaomi started Android 14 Beta program for these devices

Xiaomi has now started the Android 14 Beta program for some of its newly launched flagship devices. Yesterday, at the I/o conference, Google begin the second Developer Preview Program of Android 14 for its Pixel devices, following this, other manufacturers like Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, and OnePlus have also begun the beta testing.

As per the information, the Android 14 beta program is now officially live for Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi Pad 6 devices in China. Whereas, the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 12T global variants are also on the list to experience the new features of Android 14 based MIUI 14 or MIUI 15 software version.

Android 14 Developer Preview Program provides you with all the features and optimizations needed to improve the compatibility and development of your application for the next version of Android. Also, the Android 14 update swears to be a major upgrade, with many new elements and improvements over Android 13.

Therefore, we don’t have any information about MIUI 15 so far. Taking the example of the Xiaomi 12 family, the Xiaomi 13 series may receive an Android 14-based MIUI 14 update at first and then be updated to Android 14-based MIUI 15. Just like Xiaomi 12 received the Android 13-based MIUI 13 update and afterward upgraded to the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update.
