Xiaomi’s second-gen OLED TV coming alongside Mi MIX 4 on August 10

Xiaomi has shared a warm-up poster on its official Xiaomi TV Weibo account, which indicates that the second generation of Xiaomi OLED TVs is coming soon and the picture quality will be further improved.

As per the promo poster, the upcoming TV will be launch on August 10, 2021. Apart from OLED TVs, Xiaomi will also release the new Mi MIX 4 mobile phone and the first high-end smart speaker on the same day.

Xiaomi’s First-Generation OLED TV

In July 2020, Xiaomi released its first-generation OLED TV “Master 65-inch OLED” with a starting price of RMB 12,999 and a current price of RMB 9,999. This TV supports a 1.07 billion color display, peak brightness 1000nit, 4K/120Hz specification.

The TV supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and other specifications, MEMC speed compensation, HDMI 2.1 interface.

The Mi TV Master 65-inch OLED is equipped with a deeply optimized APU neural network computing unit, which features such as AI dynamic scene recognition, deep learning algorithms, resolution enhancement, and multiple noise reduction algorithms. The second-generation OLED TV is expected to inherit these functions and further upgrade its picture quality performance.
